Supporting the displaced, those disabled and needy families with children

006Helping a neighbor should be the priority in the daily routine for an Orthodox person. Within the concept of a neighbor, we can refer to members of our families, relatives, friends as well as merely close acquaintances. Hence, supporting those we know in person and can rely on is clear and spiritually acceptable. However, what is to be done, if there are unknown people or the people not of our status, or those exciting pity and occur to be on the margins of the successful society in the circle of those to be considered neighbors?
