On the special veneration day of the icon of the Mother of God, named the Kazan icon, the Vicegerent of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Caves Lavra, metropolitan Pavel of Vyshgorod and Chornobyl performed the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Reverend Anthony and Theodosius of the Caves. Bishop of Rovenky and Sverdlovsk Panteleimon as well as the brethren of the monastery in the holy orders joined His Grace the Vicegerent in the service.

After reading the Gospel, metropolitan Pavel delivered the sermon to the fold, and told how the Queen of Heaven shows Her mercy, when people turn to Her in prayer with the humbling heart.
