In the evening before and on the very memory day of Saint Nicolas the Wondermaker, as a tradition, the brethren of the Social Department congratulates children. This year, hierodeacon Philaret also visited families with many children living in Kyiv region, including internal refugees. Kids got sweeties, toys, stationery and necessary clothes upon meeting with the brethren.

Gifts were presented to seniors as well, met by father Philaret while coming to the large families.

Father Filaret remembered the well-known disabled who is always pleased to meet guests, treat them to all he has from God, and to thankfully accept presents from the Lavra brethren.

Brethren of the Social Department express gratitude to all who have taken part in the campaign and donated gifts and sweets further handed over to children. We wish all the grace from God, inspiration to find necessary things to share with neighbors.
