Metropolitan Pavel honored the memory of Venerable Agapitus of the Caves

009The memory of Venerable Agapitus, the Unmercenary Healer of the Caves is honored with the special care by the people of faith of all over the Orthodox world, and that is why on this day, lots of pilgrims come within the walls of the Holy-Dormition Kiev-Caves Lavra to pray and to praise the holy incorruptible relics of the Venerable.

On the eve of the feast, the Cross procession took place in the monastery from the Near Caves to the Refectory Church, when the relics of the Saint were translated and placed in the Refectory Church during the Night Vigil and the Divine Liturgy.
