Brethren who help the Social Department, archimandrite Aretha and archdeacon Philaret, visited families with many children living in small localities of the Kyiv region during the first days of spring, where there are physically challenged kids.

The inhabitants of the Caves Monastery were met with joy as usual. Kids tried to share their unpretentious news interrupting each other, adults gladly welcomed guests, thanked for the gifts and primary necessities. Icons, products, clothes and stationery were handed over from the Lavra. All kids received stuffed toys and developing games. The guests were especially welcomed by Daryna who celebrated her birthday. Father Aretha and father Philaret greeted the little girl, wished her the help of God and blessing on the life path. The joy of the visit will be long remembered both by children and their parents as well as by the brethren of the Social Department.
