The memory day of one of the first saint hegumens of the Caves monastery, saint Stephan, the bishop of Volodymyr-Volynskyi, fell on the Mid-Pentecost day this year. The night before, the Polyeleos service was performed in the Church of the Venerable Anthony and Theodosius of the Caves, led by the Vicegerent of the Kiev-Caves Lavra, metropolitan Pavel of Vyshgorod and Chornobyl joined by the clergy of the monastery. On the very day of the feast, His Grace Pavel performed the Divine Liturgy in the Church devoted to the Life-Giving Spring Icon of the Theotokos.
