In the beginning of Great Lent when the memory of saint Pope of Rome Leo the Great was commemorated metropolitan of Vyshgorod and Chornobyl Pavel led the Midnight service, Matins, Hours, Typica and Vespers in the the Great Pechersk Church of the Dormition Kyiv-Caves Lavra.

During the Divine service the Head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine Onuphrius and the brethren of the monastery were praying in the altar.
