On the Memory day of Hieromartyr Vladimir (Bogoyavlenskiy), the Metropolitan of Kyiv and Galicia, when the Revealing of his holy Relics is celebrated, solemn divine services were performed in the Kyiv-Caves Lavra.

In the evening before the feast, the relics of the Saint were brought from the Far Caves (where they permanently rest in peace) to the Refectory Church of Venerable Anthony and Theodosius of the Caves. The night vigil was served there near the relics of Hieromartyr Vladimir, which was led by metropolitan of Vyshgorod and Chornobyl Pavel in concelebration of bishop Andrew of Petropavlivka (who carried the obedience of a sacristan in the Lavra before being chosen for the bishop’s service), the brethren and guests in holy rite of the Caves Monastery.

On the very day of the feast, the Divine Liturgy was performed in the same church.

Upon the completion of the Liturgy, the Cross Procession with the relics of the Hieromartyr Vladimir was held to the Far Caves, where the prayer service was performed, thereafter all those who prayed at the Divine Service were sprinkled with the holy water and the “longevity” was sung.

Everyone who shared joy of prayer with the brethren on that feast were invited to the dining table near Far caves.
