The Vicegerent of the Lavra joined the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the service on the Great Thursday

On the day, when the Savior established the greatest Sacrament of the Eucharist, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kiev and All-Ukraine Onuphrius led the Divine Liturgy of Saint Basil the Great in the Refectory Church of Venerable Anthony and Theodosius of the Caves.

Yestereve, the compline and the matins were performed in the Great Church. Upon the censing of the church during singing the troparion “When the glorious disciples were enlightened at the washing of their feet before the supper”, metropolitan Pavel read the Gospel in the chancel narrating of the Last Supper.
