On the day, when the Orthodox Church in its full commemorates the memory of one of the founders of the Holy Caves Monastery, venerable Theodosius, the solemn divine services have been performed in the Lavra. The Head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphrius of Kyiv and All Ukraine led the Divine Liturgy in the monastery church of Venerable Agapitos the Unmercenary Healer.

During the service His Beatitude was joined by the Vicegerent of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Caves Lavra, metropolitan Pavel of Vyshgorod and Chornobyl, hierarchs, as well as the brethren and the numerous guests of the monastery in the holy rite.

In the evening before, the night vigil was headed by metropolitan Pavel.

The early Divine Liturgy was performed by the inhabitant of the monastery, archimandrite Theodosius in the Caves’ Church of the venerable Theodosius.

Upon the end of the bishopric Liturgy, the glorification at the icon of venerable Theodosius hegumen of the Caves was sung after the Cross procession towards Far caves of the Lavra.
