On the day when the venerable fathers who rest in peace in the Far Caves are given special honor, Vicegerent of the Kyiv-Caves Lavra Metropolitan Pavel headed the celebrations in the Dormition Cathedral of the Monastery.

During the all-night vigil, the festive lity was performed, led by the inhabitant of the Monastery, bishop Agathon.

After the divine service was over, the hierarchs, clergy, the brethren of the Kyiv-Caves Lavra, all the parishioners and pilgrims took part in the cross procession to the Far Caves. On the square in front of the Far Caves near the Church of the Conception of St. Anna, a prayer was offered. Thereafter, all the participants were sprinkled with the holy water and the longevity was sung to the consecrated cathedral.

At the end of the festivities, all were offered meals.
