On the great feast of Christmas, the Nativity of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, solemn services were performed in the Kyiv-Caves Lavra, led by His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphrius of Kyiv and All Ukraine.

In the church in the name of venerable Anthony and Theodosius of the Caves with the Refectory Chamber, the Head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church celebrated the all-night vigil with great compline and the conciliar Divine Liturgy.

On the day of the holiday, His Beatitude was co-served by the Vicegerent of the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Caves Lavra, Metropolitan Pavel of Vyshgorod and Chornobyl. At the end of the service, the glorification of Christmas was sung.

Also in the Refectory Church, the brethren’s all-night vigil as well as the Divine Liturgy were performed.

The hierarchs received congratulations on the Nativity of our God Jesus Christ from the brethren and numerous guests of the Lavra the same holy day.
