“First in prominence among the Apostles, and teachers to the Universe”

On the great feast of the Holy Glorious and All-Praised preeminent Apostles Peter and Paul the solemn divine services were performed in the Great Pechersk Church (the Dormition Cathedral), the main church of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.

All Night Vigil on the eve and Divine Liturgy at the day of the feast were performed by the Head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine Onuphrius. Concelebrating with His Beatitude were Vicegerent of the Lavra metropolitan Vyshgorod and Chornobyl Pavel, who to marks observes the anniversary of his name day, assembly of hierarchs and priests.

In the evening before the brethren service took place in the church of the Reverend Anthony and Theodosius of the Caves of the Dormition Kyiv-Caves Lavra as well.https://youtu.be/uUCeYlj1OMw
