On the occasion of the feast of Christmas, the Vicegerent of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Caves Lavra, metropolitan Pavel of Vyshgorod and Chornobyl traditionally accepted lots of guests. The chanters of the Metropolitan’s Chorus of the Lavra headed by the regent, archimandrite Gerontius, the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary Chorus with the rector bishop Sylvester of Bilogorodka and archimandrite Roman were among the first to congratulate father Pavel.

Priests serving in Kyiv and those who carried obedience at the Vicegerent also greeted His Eminence.

These days, all the church people had the possibility to congratulate His Eminence Pavel, many expressed respect and filial love. At the end of each communication, metropolitan Pavel presented memory gifts to all the guests in celebration of Nativity of Christ.
