On the seventh anniversary of the decease of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr (Sabodan) of Kyiv and All Ukraine, memorial services were held in the churches of the Kyiv-Caves Lavra, where the departed was the Holy Archimandrite from 1992 till 2014.

On this day, the Head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was joined in service by the Vicegerent of the Holy Caves Monastery in the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, where the tomb of the memorable Metropolitan is opposite thereto.

After the Divine Liturgy, a service for the deceased was held at the grave of Metropolitan Volodymyr, where His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphrius of Kyiv and All Ukraine served together with Metropolitan Pavel of Vyshhorod and Chornobyl. After the services, the memory eternal was sung to the departed Head of the UOC.
