On one of the Twelve Great Feasts, the Presentation of the Most Holy Theotokos in the Temple, solemn divine services in the Kiev-Caves Lavra were performed by the Vicegerent of the monastery, metropolitan Pavel of Vyshgorod and Chornobyl.

His Eminence Pavel led the night vigil in the Refectory Church of venerable Anthony and Theodosius of the Caves in the evening before, joined by Head of UOC Administrative Affairs, Rector of Kyiv Theological Schools, metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil and Brovary, by archbishop Gurias (Kuzmenko), archbishop Kliment of Irpin, bishop Victor of Baryshivka, the brethren and guests of the monastery in the holy order. Lity was performed by archbishop Kliment.

On the very day of the feast, metropolitan Pavel led the Divine Liturgy in the same church. His Eminence Vicegerent was joined in service archbishop Gurias, bishops Alexis and Victor as well as the brethren of the Lavra in the holy order.

Upon reading the Gospel, metropolitan Pavel turned to the parish of the monastery and the pilgrims with the sermon speech and told the listeners about the history of the Presentation of the Most Holy Mother of God in the Temple and about the dogmatic meaning assigned thereto by the Orthodox Church.
