Dear brothers and sisters! The baptised Orthodox Christians can only be commemorated for in the prayer request.

• A simple prayer for the alive and the reposed is offered by the brethren of the Monastery at the divine service in a church (“Simple Commemoration” option).
• An ordered prayer (also called “Ordered Liturgy” or applying for an “Offertory”) is performed by the clergy at the altar, with taking out of a particle from the prosphora, the Holy Bread, in the name of the one prayed for, and the following dip into the Blood of Our God Jesus Christ at the end of the full Liturgy. In the prayer requests, the Orthodox faithful can only be listed, who take regular part in the Church Sacraments of the Canonical Orthodox Church (“Liturgy” option).
• The Incessant Psalter (“Vigilant psalter” option) is the remembrance in prayer during the round-the-clock reading of the Psalter (one name is remembered once a day).

Prayers and akathisti are not performed on the great twelve feasts and other great feasts (including Christmastide) as well as the dedication feasts of the Lavra.

There is no classification of prayer requests by the degree of “strength” in the Church, and the remembrance largely depends on the spiritual life of the person submitting the request. The assumed amount of a possible donation influences only the period of commemoration (one-off, 40 days, half-year, 1 year, 5 years, 10years).

Service for the reposed (panikhida):

• AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE

Unlike remembrance in other prayers, remembrance at special-purpose services and akathistus as well as at panikhida is performed only once, according to the submitted request.

• 40 ordered prayers- UAH 50.
• half-year – UAH250.
• 1 year – UAH 500.
