On the 30th anniversary since the resumption of the monastic life in the Holy Caves Monastery, the video was introduced uncovering the Lavra’s Caves with the saints’ relics, the caves’ churches, the church complex on the territory of the monastery as well as the ancient printed media from the monastery library funds, directed upon blessing of the Vicegerent of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Caves Lavra, Metropolitan Pavel of Vyshgorod and Chornobyl. The cinema shots are shown one by one to the accompaniment of the prayer service with the Acathistus to All Caves’ Venerables, performed by the brethren choir of the Kiev-Caves Lavra under the baton of the chorister, archimandrite Gerontius (Borysevych). The photos are provided by the monk, hierodeacon Isaacius (Ponomariov). The video and assembling montage are prepared by Gabriel Zahorodnyi. This film will be of interest to the monks of the Kiev-Caves Lavra, to numerous parishioners and pilgrims paying daily visits to the Caves Monastery on the Kiev Hills with prayers to the venerable fathers.
