More than a century has passed since the feat of the great martyr of God, who suffered for the name of Christ – the holy martyr Vladimir, but his preaching, the vivid example of pious life and martyrdom still bring many people to Christ.

The Metropolitan of Kyiv, Holy Martyr Vladimir (Bogoyavlenskiy) is an image for the episcopate and for each individual. He showed what a clergyman should be: always have faith in God, be lenient to suffering people. He taught, dear brothers and sisters, what the attitude to parents and to married life should be.
